It was such a pleasure meeting with Milan Yager today. He is truly exceptional and provided great insight into the importance of informing the public of what the NIH does for the country. If the voters do not understand that a great deal of the innovation and discovery is a direct result of long-term funding by the NIH, then the NIH will not have the needed dollars. Innovation and discovery are imperative for our country to compete with other nations.
